Live Workshop
Learn by
doing it.
A 90-minute interactive session where you build a real Databoard โ live, with a group, on a dataset that matters to you.
Choose your dataset
Both sessions run the same method. Pick the context that fits your world.

Funnel Analysis
A SaaS product funnel with drop-off at multiple stages. Why are users leaving โ and how does vocabulary change the question?
business ยท product ยท growth

Economic Inequality
Cross-country income distribution data. What concepts does the dataset miss โ and what does naming them reveal?
research ยท policy ยท social

"You will leave with a vocabulary you built yourself โ for a real problem โ that you can take back to your team on Monday."
What happens in 90 minutes
Not a lecture.
A working session.
Every participant works on the same dataset. Every participant proposes vocabulary. The AI evaluates in real time. The group confirms or overrides. The board assembles together.
0โ15
The argument
Why vocabulary before analysis. Why the dataset is not enough. The problem the Databoard was built to solve โ shown with your chosen dataset.
15โ35
Stage B โ you propose
Everyone submits candidate words. No wrong answers. Concepts from domain knowledge, from intuition, from experience. Words that don't exist in the dataset are especially welcome.
35โ55
Stage C โ live evaluation
The AI evaluates each word in real time. The group sees the reasoning. You confirm or override. A rejected word stops the room โ it reveals an assumption everyone was making.
55โ75
Stage D + E โ the board and the BUT
The board assembles. The group splits it with VS, AND, BUT. The insight that no chart in the dataset would have found appears โ built from vocabulary the group created together.
75โ90
What would you do differently
Open discussion. Participants connect the method to their own work โ their own datasets, their own teams, their own stuck analyses. The most valuable fifteen minutes.
Who this is for
Experienced or not.
Both welcome.
The method is designed to work for anyone who reasons with data โ regardless of technical background. The vocabulary is the entry point, not the statistics.
Data analysts & scientists
You've built the models. You've sat in rooms where nobody agrees on what the output means. This is the missing step.
Product managers
You have funnel data and five private theories. This gives the team a shared vocabulary before anyone touches the dashboard.
Researchers & academics
You know qualitative methods. This is what happens when you bring them into data analysis โ compressed by AI into a working session.
Policy & NGO teams
You have data that describes a problem but not its causes. The vocabulary finds what the columns can't measure.
Questions
What you're
probably wondering.
Do I need technical skills?
No. You need to be able to read a dataset and have opinions about what it might mean. The method is designed for both technical and non-technical participants โ that's partly the point.
What do I need to prepare?
Nothing. You'll receive the dataset and a context brief 24 hours before the session. Read it once. Come with questions and hunches โ not answers.
How many people per session?
Maximum 12. The method works best when every voice can be heard and every proposed word can be discussed. Larger groups get a dedicated corporate session.
What do I take away?
The completed board from the session โ yours to keep and use. A method reference sheet covering all five stages. And a vocabulary you built yourself, for a real problem, that you can bring back to your team.
Will it be recorded?
No. The session is interactive by design โ the value is in the live vocabulary-building, not in watching a recording. What gets built in the room stays with the people in the room.
What platform?
Zoom with a shared live board. No software to install. A browser is enough.
Corporate & Invited
For teams.
On your data.
The most powerful version of the workshop runs on your own dataset โ with your own team. The vocabulary that emerges is built from people who know the problem. The insights belong to your organisation.
Suitable for data teams, product squads, research groups, strategy sessions, and executive offsites. Available in-person or remote. Facilitated in English or Hebrew.
